Savudrija with its historic lighthouse, is very well known the as the most western point of Croatia. ![]()
As legends go the name Savudrija comes from the son of the German emperor Barbarotto. In the famous battle at sea in 1177 near Savudrija fighting against the fleet of King Alexander II, Otto tried to save himself in one cove in the northern Adriatic sea.
This became known as the “Salvo re” the saved king. That is how Savudrija got the name Salvore (Italian).
That small fishing port has all the romance and charm of Roman times. The Savudrian Riviera hides many romantic coves and beautiful natural beauties with crystal clear seas.
The Complex Porto Salvore is based in a small antique port, right next to the sea. The host demonstrates hospitality that goes back to a simpler time, a time of tradition. and professional business values.
This guarantees all of our guests a peaceful relaxing vacation.
