About Us
Savudrija, with its historic lighthouse, is known as the most north-western point of Croatia.
According to the legend, the name Savudrija-Salvore comes from the son of the German emperor
Barbarossa who in 1177 fought against the fleet of King Alexander II in the
famous sea battle. Otto tried to save himself in one cove in the northern Adriatic Sea, hence the idea of the Italian na
me “Salvo re”, which means the saved king.
The Savudrija Riviera hides many romantic coves and beautiful natural attractions surrounded by crystal clear sea. Among these, you’ll find also a small fishing port which even today recalls the romance and charm of Roman times.
The Porto Salvore Complex is located in this small and antique port, right next to the sea. The hosts sense of hospitality will bring you back to a simpler time, a time of traditional business and professional values.
These values will guarantee to all our guests a peaceful and relaxing vacation.
